What
is triON?
triON
is an energy formula utilizing nutracueticals
and herbs to tonify the organs, glands and energy systems of the
body worn out by stress and natural aging. triON
is based on superior food grade herbs, which have been safely
used for over three thousand years.
These herbs have been proven to be
the very food the body needs to strengthen its resistance to Chronic
Stress Disorder-exhaustion- the continual assault of
stressors that results in physiological and psychological breakdown.
triON
utilizes a unique category of herbs called "adaptogens,"
herbs that facilitate adaptation. They help the body maintain
healthier processes, despite a wide range of external and internal
stressors.
Each box Includes 15 packets of triON
powdered dietary supplement. Contains Goji,
Cocoa,
Green
tea, and many herbs including Yerba
Mate, Siberian
Ginseng, Stevia,

Natural Herbal Energy - An Ancient Chinese Secret
The
NON-DIET System

Stress
Everyone wants more energy. Coffee, stimulants, and
soft drinks all push the body without nutrient support and, thus,
deplete stored energy.
Regulating our nervous system and stopping
the constant outflow of energy due to various adrenal stressors
is the first step to creating real energy. It is through the natural
regulating mechanism of the body-
homeostasis
- that real energy can be restored and used to rejuvenate
the entire system.
Low energy is a "whole body response"
to stress that requires a whole body treatment. triON
is a whole food that restores our whole energy system: mental,
emotional, physical, sexual and intellectual. triON
is beneficial to our cardiovascular, endocrine, immune, reproductive
and nervous systems.
triON
is a delicious herbal tea blend of the most renowned longevity herbs
in the Orient. These tonic herbs are consumed throughout Asia to
promote a healthy lifestyle. The herbs in triON
have been used for centuries for anti-aging and to prevent fatigue.
triON
is the ultimate "Three Treasures" formula for nourishing
Vitality, Energy, and Spirit.

Slendering!
is the first and only fat-loss product with OvatioN's TriFibrix,
a proprietary blend, using exclusive Escortex Technology.
Escortex is a process developed by Dr. Ted Brooks, a PhD in
human nutrition.
Dr. Ted Brooks is the creator of numerous
weight-loss regimens, formulas, and techniques. His newest
technology, Escortex, utilizes nutritional fibers from three
plants that are unique in their ability to "escort"
fat molecules through the digetive system without being absorbed.
It essentially, "escorts fat molecules' in a gelatin
vehicle which prevents some of the fat calories from being
digested. The end result is slow-steady-sure fat loss!
Every dieter dreams of a 'magic pill' for
weight loss. Additionally, they would love it to work fast!
Well, that's a pipe dream. Unfortunately, in the absence of
excessive exercise, the human body does not lose weight rapidly
in a healthy way. However, there IS a product that fulfills
the description of 'a magic pill for Slow-Steady-Sure fat
loss.' That product is Slendering!.
Slendering!
delivers on its promise of fat loss that is
Slow-Steady-Sure.
The universal opinion of the medical establishment
is that 1.5 to 2.5 pounds of fat loss per week is the healthiest
rate of weight reduction, and, that is exactly what Slendering!
delivers!
NeOpuntia
is the trade name for fiber from the cactus Opuntia
ficus-indica.

me to fall asleep sooner when I Awakened
during the night. (2) The second night using Slender-Sleep

My head hit the pillow around 10 p.m. and I don't remember
anything until 7 a.m. and I had
unbounded energy all day. (3) The third and forth night were
much the same as the first. (4) The fifth night gave me a
wonderful repeat of the second night with a great night's
sleep.
I look forward to continuing this new and
wonderful product again to help change my sleep pattern. Thank
you, Dr. Ted, for giving us a sweet dream formula.

Why
Slender-Sleep?
CBS
News (March 13, 2008) (The Science of Sleep) Weight-loss
experts have a novel prescription for people who want to
shed pounds: Get some sleep. A very large study has found
a surprisingly strong link between the amount of shut-eye
people get and their risk of becoming obese.

Science
of Sleep - Part 1
Sleep
deprivation can be linked
to memory deprevation, delayed responses (13:01)
|
Science
of Sleep - Part 2
Sleep
deprivation can be linked to serious problems such
as diabetes, obesity and heart disease
(12:36)
|
Highlights from the videos:
-
Sleep was restricted go
4 hours a night for 6 consecutive nights. The result:
the participants in the study were already in a "pre-diabetic
state."
-
Lack of sleep also made
the participants hungry, sleep deprivation appears to
affect a hormone called leptin that signals your brain
when you're full.
- The leptin levels dropped due to sleep
deprivation, and the body therefore, felt it was "time
to eat." Over-eating due to lack of sleep could be
a contributing factor to obesity.
- After 4 night without REM sleep the participants
were (1) hungrier, (2) less alert, (3) and their body was
not able to metabolize sugar effectively - putting them
at risk for Type II Diabetes.
Other Research:
According to: source:
Scientists Finding Out What Losing Sleep Does to a Body,
By Rob Stein, Washington Post Staff Writer Sunday, October
9, 2005; Page A01
- The analysis of a nationally representative
sample of nearly 10,000 adults found that those between
the ages of 32 and 49 who sleep less than seven hours a
night are significantly more likely to be obese.
- Lack of sleep disrupts every physiologic
function in the body," said Eve Van Cauter of the University
of Chicago. "We have nothing in our biology that allows
us to adapt to this behavior.
- The newest study on obesity, from Columbia
University, is just the latest to find that adults who sleep
the least appear to be the most likely to gain weight and
to become obese.
- Other researchers have found that even
mild sleep deprivation quickly disrupts normal levels of
the recently discovered hormones ghrelin and leptin, which
regulate appetite. That fits with the theory that humans
may be genetically wired to be awake at night only when
they need to be searching for food or fending off danger
-- circumstances when they would need to eat to have enough
energy.
- "The modern equivalence to that situation
today may unfortunately be often just a few steps to the
refrigerator next door," Mignot wrote in his editorial.
- In addition, studies show sleep-deprived
people tend to develop problems regulating their blood sugar,
which may put them at increased risk for diabetes.
-
Less than 4 hours of sleep
a night were 73 percent more likely to be obese than those
who got the recommended seven to nine hours of rest, scientists
discovered.
-
Those who averaged 5 hours
of sleep had 50 percent greater risk.
-
Those who got 6 hours had
23 percent more.
"Maybe there's a window
of opportunity for helping people sleep more, and maybe
that would help their weight," said Dr. Steven Heymsfield
of Columbia University and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital
in New York. He and James Gangwisch, a Columbia epidemiologist,
led the study and are presenting results this week at a
meeting of the North American Association for the Study
of Obesity.
They used information on about
18,000 adults participating in the federal government's
National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, or NHANES,
throughout the 1980s. The survey includes long-term follow-up
information on health habits, and researchers adjusted it
to take into account other things that affect the odds of
obesity, like exercise habits, so that the effects of sleep
could be isolated.
Sleep deprivation lowers leptin,
a blood protein that suppresses appetite and seems to affect
how the brain senses when the body has had enough food.
Sleep deprivation also raises levels of grehlin,
a substance that makes people want to eat. In addition,
says The Early Show Medical Correspondent Dr. Emily Senay,
"Lack of sleep can interfere with processing insulin,
a metabolic process that helps regulate blood sugar."
Now
You Know Why Slender-Sleep!
Slender-Sleep is another Non-Diet
supplement designed by Ted Brooks, Ph.D., Nutrition. It
is our Ovation Lifestyles goal to provide to the public
a variety of natural food supplements that assist the body
with body-fat and inch reduction, ALL
WITHOUT DIETING. We encourage you to test it today
and expect improved sleep within 24 hours.
Natural
Supplements That Aid Weight
And FAT-Loss
Brown
FAT Is Your Key To BURNING FAT - "THERMOGENICS"
Thermogenesis literally means
"heat creation" and is the process by which the
body burns excess calories in its brown adipose tissue (BAT).
"Brown fat [BAT] is comprised of numerous fat-burning
cells that contain large quantities of mitochondria,
which actually give the fat its brown color," wrote
Ann Louise Gittleman, M.S., author of Eat Fat, Lose Weight
(Keats Publishing, 1999). "Researchers have discovered
that thin people who have little trouble managing extra
calories have activated mitochondria in their brown fat,
while overweight individuals have dormant brown fat."
BAT activity can decrease through
behavioral and genetic factors, making the body ineffective
at burning excess calories, which are then stored as white
fat, according to Daniel B. Mowrey, Ph.D., author of Fat
Management: The Thermogenic Factor (Victory Publications,
1994).
However, Mowrey continued,
BAT activity can be restored through thermogenic dietary
supplements. Magnesium alone is a part of almost 400 different
chemical reactions that are part of the production of energy!
It ensures calcium and potassium uptake. Magnesium supplement
helps to ward off depression, dizziness, muscle weakness,
muscle twitch, heart deficiencies and high blood pressure.
In addition, Magnesium can help to maintain the pH balance.
Magnesium protects the internal wall of arteries against
the effects of unexpected blood pressure variations. Then
it also takes part in bones growth and in carbon mineral
metabolism.
"Some swelling of brown
adipose tissue (BAT) mitochondria is observed insitu in
acute magnesium deficiency possibly reflecting some modification
of BAT thermogenesis" (1).
- ALL
SOURCES CITED AT BOTTOM OF PAGE.
Magnesium is the second most
abundant and ubiquitous intracellular metal and it activates
many steps in the cellular metabolic pathways (2). Mitochondria
from liver, heart and skeletal muscle have been proposed
as target cell constituents of magnesium deficiency in vivoleading
to swelling and partial uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation
(3,4) and consequently to disturbances of energy metabolism
(5). It is not established if these effects are the consequence
of a direct action of magnesium deficiency on magnesium-dependent
processes (6,7) or are secondary to alterations of mitochondrial
membranes (8).
Several mitochondrial functions
are magnesium-dependent. In addition to the well known magnesium
activation of ATPase (9), recent studies have identified
several magnesium-dependent ion transports (uniports or
antiports) present in mitochondria of various tissues including
BAT (10,11).

Today's
Hectic and Demanding World . . .
. . .
how does one avoid becoming the victim of unhealthy, high-calorie,
low-nutrition snacks?
It's hard. Virtually everyone, and we do mean
everyone, has a continuing need to fill in those daily times
between meals when we have a craving for something sweet,
satisfying, and delicious. Before bedtime too!
That's why candy, pastry, and ice cream companies do so well,
they are feeding our sweet tooth! It's true that by indulging
we have that wonderful experience of taste and comfort, and
even a temporary boost in energy, but at what cost? We are
undermining our health as well as adding to the dreaded "bulging
waistline."
Eat 1-3 wafers daily and watch what happens
on your scale! We all know that fiber is important, and that
we should be taking in more daily. But it's so hard! Plus,

Rogers Energy NOW

Item #: OV429-1995
Price: $29.95
|

Rogers
Energy NOW
Roger Drummer's formula for quick energy.
A taffy-like, lemon-lime chew individually wrapped and shipped
in a jar of 30 chews.
How
Roger's Energy Now Chews Work
This product works by stimulating natural
brain neurotransmitters, which essentially tell the body how
it is to feel. We achieve this by using expensive, power-house
nutrients that are designed to create real brain energy.
- L-Tyrosine
- An amino acid that improves cognitive function by increasing
dopamine
in the brain. Dopamine is the neurotransmitter responsible
for the power of your brain and helps with various cravings,
especially for sweets. It's useful during stress, fatigue,
sleep deprivation and prolonged periods of overworking and
mental fatigue.
- Taurine
- This amino acid reduces oxidative stress in the brain,
a condition that's been linked to the development of senile
plaque. Taurine also calms the nervous system allowing for
a simultaneous feeling of alertness and peace.
- L-Theanine
- A specific amino acid which is enjoyed by most people
as it is one of the most impactful nutrients in tea. It
works as a counter-stimulant to caffeine and is responsible
for the relaxing, yet alert, feeling that comes from drinking
black or green tea. This amino acid directly stimulates
the production of alpha brain waves, creating a state of
relaxation and mental alertness.
- DMAE
- Originally sold as a prescription for ADD, later was
replaced by drugs with major side-effects. DMAE works to
open neural pathways in the brain. After crossing the blood-brain
barrier, it converts easily into choline,
the main building block for acetylcholine
(Ach), a key neurotransmitter. Ach is responsible for
the speed by which you can recognize and process information.
All of the higher thinking functions such as comprehension
of language, creativity, intelligence and attention span
are associated with Ach. It has a direct affect on your
enthusiasm and intuition. As we age, our ability to transport
choline across the blood-brain barrier decreases. DMAE can
be an important nutrient for feeding our brain.
- Quercetin
- A very potent anti-inflammatory antioxidant. It is
a bioflavonoid and, along with Vitamin C, can strengthen
the capillaries in the brain.
- Brown
Rice Syrup - Most products of this nature are made
only using sugar and/or high-fructose corn syrup, both of
which are antagonists to good health. Brown rice syrup is
much more expensive as a medium for nutrients, and is MUCH
more health supporting.
- Vitamins
- Many vitamins contribute to brain energy. These are
included to work synergistically with the other nutrients
to deliver a true sharpness in mental acuity and creativity.
They include Vitamin C, Niacin, B-6, and Pantothenic acid.
- Schizandra
- This herb fights stress and is a valuable support
nutrient for increasing metabolism. It is beneficial for
liver health and increases mental acuity.
- Goji
- This herb is valued and renowned globally as an anti-oxidant
and is said to increase liver support and sexual vitality.
- Caffeine - Yes, Roger's Energy Now
does contain caffeine. However, it is important
to recognize that all caffeines are NOT the same. Most people
are familiar with the caffeine in coffee, which can produce
the jitters when consuming too much. That is due to the
caffeine losing its balanced nature. In its natural state,
coffee has alkaline elements that naturally buffer the acidic
caffeine. However, when brewed, many of these buffers are
lost. That's why the longer coffee sits, the more bitter
(acidic) it becomes. The caffeine in Roger's Energy Now
is different than most caffeines. First, it is naturally
sourced from green
tea and other teas; secondly; it is
microencapsulated to offset bitterness; and thirdly, it
is naturally balanced. This delivery technology provides
a fast, steady, and prolonged energy effect.

Goji
Berries (Wikipedia)
The Goji
plant yields long oval shaped red berries and bright trumpet
shaped flowers. The berries are harvested when ripe and then
usually dried. Goji has long had the reputation of enhancing
longevity.
Goji
berries are an important part of the Chinese philosophy of
health. This herb works to support the immune system, eyesight,
liver function, circulation, and sexual vitality. The berries
contain polysaccharides and carotenoids, Polysaccharides have
antioxidant properties with the interaction of fatty acids.
The carotenoids found in these berries, zeaxanthin,
support the function of the retina in the eyes.
Goji
has also been used to support normal blood pressure, fertility,
kidney function, and normal cholesterol levels. Goji, blackberry,
and raspberry are part of triONs
tri-berry goodness. Goji is just one more reason to take triON
every day.

Yerba
Mate is a shrub to the holly plant. It has been used for centuries
as a tonic tea. It contains xanthenes like those contained
in cocoa and acts as a stimulant to the nervous system, but

Schizandra
(Wikipedia)
Schizandra is related to the family of the
Magnoliaceae plants. This is significant because these plants
are engineered with the most primitive characteristics found
in the plant kingdom. This means that these plants understand
the intricate and basic structures because they are part of
them.
It has been known to grow in just about any
type of soil. The berries have been given the name wu wei
zi in Chinese which means five flavor fruit. These
berries adhere to the five basic flavors of sweet, salty,
sour, bitter, and spicy. In Chinese herbal medicine, these
five flavors correspond to different functions in the body.
For example, sweet flavors would indicate the ability to tonify
the body. triON
contains schizandra as an herb that tonifies, acts as an astringent,
nourishes, detoxifies, and strengthens.

Cocoa
Extract (Wikipedia)
Cocoa comes from the cacao tree and was once
considered the food of the gods. The seeds of the cocoa plant
are dried and turned into a powder or liquid.
Many of the commercial products containing
cocoa are often watered down with sugar or other additives.
The cocoa used for herbal nutrition is quite different. Cocoa,
a great energy food contains flavonoids
which support a healthy cardiovascular system. Cocoa also
appears to support natural circulation which in turn benefits
healthy blood pressure and cardiovascular health. Cocoa also

Green
Tea (Wikipedia)
Green Tea originated in China and was later
adopted by the Japanese. It is considered to be a true tea
and is prized for its ECGC. These plant antioxidant polyphenols
supports a healthy immune system and healthy digestion. Green
tea also contains Vitamins C and E.
In a study reported on in
the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition , it was found
that green tea extract resulted in a significant increase
in energy expenditure (a measure of metabolism), plus also
had a significant effect on fat oxidation. While some of the
effects were originally theorized to be due to the caffeine
content of green tea, the researchers discovered that the
tea actually has properties that go beyond those that would
be explained by the caffeine. The same amount of caffeine
as was in the green tea, administered alone, failed to change
energy expenditure in other studies. This led researchers
to believe that there is some interaction going on with the
active ingredients of green tea that promotes increased metabolism
and fat oxidation.
The researchers indicated
that their findings have substantial implications for weight
control. A 4% overall increase in 24-hour energy expenditure
was attributed to the green tea extract, however, the research
found that the extra expenditure took place during the daytime.
This led them to conclude that, since thermogenesis (the body's
own rate of burning calories) contributes 8-10% of daily energy
expenditure in a typical subject, that this 4% overall increase
in energy expenditure due to the green tea actually translated
to a 35-43% increase in daytime thermogenesis.
